Wikicast

Want to listen to interesting articles while you exercise, drive or work in the garden? Wikipedia has more than 6 million entries, many of which are well written and sometimes even reliable sources of information!  Wikicast reads Wikipedia articles aloud using the text to speech (TTS) engine on your Android device.  If you have suggestions for new features, please email comacino@gmail.com or leave a comment below. Tips To load an article without reading aloud, click on the article length on the right hand side of its entry. You can then switch to the Article tab, and read the text of the article yourself. Articles that are part of one of your playlists are displayed in a lighter color in your library. Articles that were downloaded as part of a wikicast are displayed in grey in your library.
