Information Collection and Use The Glimpse weather app uses the device GPS to access your location when you (a) have given permission, (b) have "use device location" checked in settings and (c) when Location mode is enabled on the device. Location information is stored locally on the device and not transmitted to Glimpse. To retrieve forecast information from the device location, the GPS coordinates may be transmitted to Google (to convert the GPS coordinates into a location), the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (to retrieve US forecast data) and/or weatherAPI.com (to retrieve non-US forecast data). Apart from using Location data (if permitted and enabled), the app does not collect any personal information from you or your device. However, the app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.
